Dr. Eric VanAusdal, or “Dr. V” as we like to call him, is thrilled to be able to call The Eye Shop home. Dr. V earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Phoenix in 2010. After a life-changing experience with eye care, he decided to attend Midwestern University College of Optometry where he was awarded the Eschenbach Award for Excellence in Low Vision. He was also awarded the Minnie Flaura Turner Memorial Fund for Impaired Vision Research Award for his research presented at the American Academy of Optometry in 2017.
In his free time Dr. V likes to write and record music and go camping. He’s at his happiest when he is traveling with his wife and two children.

Dr. Shaver opened The Eye Shop in early 2014 wanting to bring his unique blend of high quality, on trend, family friendly eye care to his community here in Queen Creek, AZ. He provides comprehensive optometric care with an emphasis in primary eye care, myopia control and dry eye treatment. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry where he received awards for outstanding professionalism and overall academic and clinical performance.  
          Dr. Shaver has five active children who keep him very busy! Dr. Shaver enjoys watching his kids play sports or the piano and likes to sing really loud in the car.

Christa has called The Eye Shop her "home away from home" since 2015. She loves and cares about our patients and it shows in the care she gives them. When she's not exceeding expectations here, she loves going to escape rooms and concerts with her husband and doing anything at all with her three kids and other family members!
